One of our favourite things about Arts at Aldabra Atelier & Gallery is Collaboration. The teamwork and sharing of creative ideas builds a magical whizz which empower the artists with inspiration and motivation. We are thrilled to engage in the exhibition 'Goodbye Propaganda' on Sunday 7th April by artist Aaron Lu who resides in Malta since 2012. The exhibition will include guest artists and artistic collaborations with international photojournalist Rene Rossignaud, artist from China He Ping and stockmaker Fabrizio Rivetta as well as music performances by DJ Nigel C, Drummer Max Pixbymax and Swara Duo Toni Curmi and Noel Scerri. The exhibition will be introduced by The German Ambassador, H. E. Mr Walter Hassmann. Those who wish to attend to the inauguration, kindly request invite on aldabragallery@gmail.com.

'Goodbye Propaganda' is supported by Faber-Castell The Concept Malta, The AV Warehouse, Callus Garden Centre, Coronation Candles and Knight Music. We are proud to collaborate with organizations who supports art communications in the community, and here is why we want to share with you a commercial collaboration with Eden Cinemas in St. Julians who are exclusively showing Arts on Screen – Exhibitions from world’s premier galleries and most famous and genius artists of all times. Prior to each screening Eden Cinemas carry out a live exhibition in the foyer of a different local artist, accompanied by wine buffet on the premier evening.

REMBRANDT / FROM THE NATIONAL GALLERY, LONDON AND RIJKSMUSEUM, AMSTERDAM
Screenings: Tuesday 9th April at 20:15 and Sunday 14th April at 15:00

Meet the man behind the masterpieces in this once-in-a-lifetime exhibition. Every Rembrandt exhibition is eagerly anticipated but this major show hosted by London’s National Gallery and Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum was an event like no other.

Given privileged access to both galleries the film documents this landmark exhibition, whilst interweaving Rembrandt’s life story, with behind-the-scenes preparations at these world famous institutions. Exploring many of the exhibition’s key works, through contributions from specially invited guests including curators and leading art historians, this EXHIBITION ON SCREEN favourite makes a welcome return to the big screen.

For many, Rembrandt is the greatest artist that ever lived and this film seeks to explore the truth about the man behind the legend.

The spectacular journey takes us to Madrid, covering six centuries of the history of Spain as a nation. History told trough the nine thousand works of art to be found in the
Museum’s collections. From Velázquez, Goya, El Greco to Titian, Rubens and Bosch to name just a few.
