Located in Smartcity, the co-founders of Art Malta Gabriella Mallia and Aaron Lu opens a new concept of Atelier and Art Gallery. The idea of this concept is to create a space without barriers, as a creative hub for deserving artist.

The Mission of Aldabra is to allow true talent to flourish, to encourage the appreciation of art and to reward the seekers of justice by providing a platform for the benefit of the community. The Aldabra Tortoise represents the long years of patience and attention, which lead to a strong shield protecting wisdom and a safe place within. The vision is to create a multi-purpose creative hub dedicated to the most deserving artists. Aldabra gallery sees to protect the artists' IP and to professionally manage and develop an understanding about the effects of art.

The Art gallery was launched in May 2018 where four artist are exhibiting their works.
The artworks shows different spectrums of the art world reminding that diversity makes one whole. The four artists represent the 4 cardinal directions, and each artist is exhibiting three works. The art curator Ms Gabriella Mallia explains that the twelve works are exhibited in total, in parallel with the twelve hours of the clock and the twelve months of the year which measure our lives.

The unique ceramic works of Paul Haber - the established Ceramist coming from the Island of Gozo, allows the viewer to build a personal relation with the abstract works yet illustrates the sensibility of life which goes beyond from what can be discovered from the surface. Christian Formosa; a talented and highly dedicated Maltese young artist, exhibits platonic work which encompasses the depth of thought and contemplates philosophical and social behaviour.  Domenico Caruso who is the Italian weaving master and the Art Director at Tessiture Artistiche Caruso & Scuola Tappeti depicts well-known masterpieces in a perfectioned technique upholding heritage. Aaron Lu  (nom de plum to G. Luigi Rossi), Italian born - German contemporary artist exhibits large format paintings which surrounds the viewer within a daring play of colourful visions of reality.

At Aldabra Gallery, the team understands that true beauty flourishes when the creator finds himself in the right atmosphere. That is why they have created the Aldabra Plein Air Terrace at Smartcity Malta. This dedicated space allows the artists to detach from the everyday surroundings and to be present with simplicity. The location itself - SmartCity Malta is a unique live, work, play destination. SmartCity Malta is a unique business park which is home to a mix of Maltese and international companies.
